How We Test Football Games

Every download button on this site is earned. Before a file goes live, it passes a five-step protocol run by our reviewer on physical Android phones. No file is published on the basis of a description, a changelog, or anyone's word.

We test like players, not auditors. That means a fresh install on a real phone, the full data download over Wi-Fi, the tutorial, and then real matches, because a build that installs fine but crashes in the 70th minute is still a broken build.

When Konami releases a new build, the protocol runs again from step one. Old notes are corrected, file facts are re-verified, and only then does the new file take the button. If a file ever fails, it does not go up, and if a live file is later found faulty, the page says so.

The protocol

Every file clears this list

Signature scan. The file is scanned with two antivirus engines before it ever touches a test phone.
Real-device install. The exact file you download is installed on physical Android phones, never an emulator.
Fact check. Version number, file size, package name and permissions are verified by hand against the installed build.
Play test. The game is launched and played: menus, one full match, and the first data download, so broken builds never go live.
Ongoing watch. If a newer build replaces the file, this page is updated and the old notes are corrected.
